Movie line of the week answer - [9:10 AM]

I'm quite surprised a left coaster was the first to guess this week, he's also our winner, Robert Dodd correctly guessed...

Congratulations Robert!

Another place I'd love to work - [8:40 AM]

Every once in a while I'll go visit Martin Hash's "Martin's Minutes". Martin is the co-founder, and President I believe, of Hash Incorporated. Hash is the creator of Animation Master. A high end animation package with a very low price tag. Anywho, Martin is a gifted story teller so I like to read him on occasion. Here's one of his latest stories, enjoy.

Once again I wish I had the skills to work for a company that produces 3D animation software.... sigh....

Movie line of the week - [6:24 AM]

And.... ACTION!
I couldn't sleep to the folks on the right coast are going to get the first shot this morning. It didn't take long to come up with these lines. I just about laughed myself silly at the theatre, you'll get what I mean when you read it.

Ready, set, guess!

Actor #1: Explain "act crazy".
Actor #2: You know, curse and stuff.
Actor #1: You want me to curse?
Actor #2: You don't mean it. It's just for show. What?
Actor #1: Well, it won't be convincing. It doesn't sound natural when I curse.
Actor #2: Just make noises, then.

Ok, quick, what movie! Send your guesses here.

Frosted Rodent? - [9:00 AM]

Rodent Regatta: "War is hell. War isn't for talking heads. War isn't for intellectual exercise. War isn't for United Nations approval. Let's get the guys what they need to win, support them and find out who is next in line. I'm steamed!" - I've never seen Steve like this, WOW!

Enjoy the weather - [10:27 AM]

It's a real scorcher here in the San Joaquin Valley!Scoble: "Man is it great here right now. Makes the winter of gray worth it all." - It's nice to see Scoble managed to move to the Seattle area in a year where the weather is NOT typical. It'll help keep his spirits up. When we were there I'd become restless around March because I was sick of the rain. I'd barely keep my sanity until June, when we vacationed. When June rolled around we'd load up and head south for California and the San Joaquin Valley heat. Those are some of the best times of my life. I love road trips and those were especially sweet. Driving 18-20 hours over two days is actually enjoyable. We always stopped in Grants Pass, Oregon, for the night and stayed in a little place called the Redwood Motel. It's a small place but it's always been clean and the people are very friendly. It's been too long since our last trip and right now it feels like we'll never see Seattle again. Sigh.

Our weather here in the valley has been unseasonably warm as well. March was more like May, April has been like June, I certainly hope May isn't like July or August. It's supposed to approach 100 degrees today, probably be between 96-98 which is darned hot for this time of the year. We don't usually see temperatures like that until mid-June. I'm hoping the temps will drop a bit and the 100's hold off until at least June, but I wouldn't be surprised to see those temperatures by mid-May.

Hopefully that doesn't mean 110+ days are coming soon. Ick.
