Friday, August 16, 2002 Union's stink! - [3:11 PM] Yet another reason to hate unions. I could go on all day about this but I don't have the time right now. Poor, poor millionaires. I love the game guys, did you get that? It's a game. Boycott baseball. Where was I when Elvis died? - [1:48 PM] That's an easy question to answer. It's what I'll remember as the best time of my life. I was nine years old and baseball was the love of my life, I remember it well. On this day 25 years ago I was standing in the middle of Page Street in Lindsay, California; 809 N. Page to be exact (my grandparents house), playing baseball. I remember a friends mom coming outside to tell us Elvis had died, we all stopped playing to listen to the radio. Movie line of the week answer - [7:45 AM] Good mornin' Y'All! I thought this line would get more answers then it did because the movie is really new and just released on DVD. I'm declaring two winners today because one lives in another country and can't compete head-to-head with those of us in the states. In fact I think I'm going to make this an ongoing thing. Tuesday, August 13, 2002 Has it been a year? - [3:00 PM] On this day last year Dave ran a story on DaveNet about the Blogger API. It's hard to believe it's been around that long. It looks like the Blogger API turned one on August 7th, happy belated birthday! Same old stuff... - [8:39 AM] ...different day. Nothing really new in the world. Economy is still stinky, we're still talkin' smack with Iraq, and there's no telling how long it's going to take to snuff out al Queda. As Pooh would say "Oh bother".
